Getting the Best Fit The key to getting the perfect fit for your costume is taking careful measurements and using our size chart. Our friendly staff is always available to help with questions about measurements and fit. Click here for the DBV Size Chart   a. Bust: Measure around the bust at the widest point. For best fit have subject wear proper foundation garments. b. Waist: Measure waist at the smallest point between the rib cage and hip bone. c. Hips: Measure the hips at the widest point. d. Girth: Start the tape at the center of the right shoulder, bring it down diagonally over the bust point and through the crotch. Bring the tape back up to the starting point insuring that it goes over the buttocks. Make sure the tape hugs the body for the most accurate measurement. e. Outseam: Run the tape from the waistline to the bottom of the ankle. When sizing one piece garments, Girth is the most important measurement. With tops, Bust. With Pants, Hip and Outseam. Placing Your Order DBV works exclusively with studio owners and teachers. Ship weeks are usually 7-12 weeks from your order date. Click here for our Current Shipweek. Actual ship dates may vary due to fabric availability. DBV reserves the right to substitute fabrics or trims. 2010 Catalog orders are accepted through 9/1/2010. Paying for Your Order DBV accepts business checks, money orders, cashiers checks and all major credit cards. Business checks require a 15 business day clearing process. All orders require a 50% deposit and balances are due prior to shipping. Completed orders with a balance due are sent COD. Illinois clients are responsible for a 10.25 sales tax. If you have exempt or resale status, please provide a copy of your certificate. Purchase Orders are accepted from public/private schools , and recreation departments. These orders require a signed PO and do not qualify for discounts. All changes will incur fees. Additions are considered new orders and assigned a new ship week. Shipping Your Order Orders shipped outside the continental United States require express shipping. DBV is not responsible for lost or damaged packages but will assist with Fedex claims. Did you know? DBV standard delivery is Fed ex ground and can take up to 7 business days. Orders can be expedited by requesting express shipping. Express delivery charges are assessed and charged to your credit card at the time of shipping. Receiving Your Order DBV accepts exchange for size requests within the first two weeks of the shipped date. Exchanges require a return authorization number issued by customer service. Exchanges are considered new orders and assigned new ship weeks and fees. We do not accept costumes for exchange when they are not returned in the same condition as they were sent. Hint: Open, check and fit your order immediately to provide sufficient time for size exchanges. Report any missing item claims within 2 weeks of ship date. Claims made after that date may incur fees.
